Michalis Katsimitsis has studied Philosophy at the University of Athens, wherefrom he obtain his doctoral degree in Philosophy. He has received two scholarships, from the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund, and the Panayotis and Effie Michelis Foundation, the latter of which was for his PhD research in France. Katsimitsis has taught Modern European Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Athens. He has also taught philosophy at the 3 years programme “Plato’s Academy”, which was under the supervision of the University of Athens. Apart from various lectures he has given on philosophical subjects, Katsimitsis has written numerous articles not only on philosophy and literature, but also on business strategy, business ethics etc., in one of the country’s biggest newspapers. He has also translated books on philosophy and history and is the author of books written for educational purposes.
